Cell Structure
Cell Biology Chapter  - written at MIT  +  describes characteristics of procaryoticeucaryotic cells and structure and function of organelles.
Virtual Cell-   allows a virtual tour in a plant cell,  shows models + electron microscope images. Highlyrecomended

Plant, Animal and Bacteria Cell Models at Cells Alive!!! – allows you to explore the differences between the cells and their structures. Select one type of cell each time (scroll down for bacteria), and click on the organelle at the image to see the name. Also includes some details on each organelle. Highly recommended

The Virtual Cellcell model. Choose between the Tour (Fascinating) and the text book (divided by subjects, includes model molecules of lipids, proteins, etc.in “organic chemistry” and “cell biology”)The Pioneer and Quicktimeplugins are required.

Animal Cell Structure – each category shows the organelle in a microscope. Nice

Cells: Cellular Organizationnice graphics but simplified text.

book
Cells and Cell Organellesgives several pictures of light or electron microscope and a list of questions to focus your observations.
Microscopyexplains various techniques and gives photographed examples.
Images gallerygives several pictures of SEM and TEM of various cell types + short explanations. If you save the pictures and reopen in your directory they are larger and clearer.
Cell Structure & Function animal and plant cell's structure & function animations.
Structure and function in cell biology- a representative list of links on Cell Biology on the net

The Eukaryote Cell: A Virtual Tourvirtual tour of an animal cell. All organelles in the graphic above will allow you to move from organelle to organelle to see their structures and functions.
