After harvesting the virus from the transfected cells you should determine the viral titer by performing a plaque assay ().
 
To the right you can see a part of a six-wells plate, seeded with SF9 cells and containing ~25 plaques (corresponding to plate A at dilution 10-7 ). 

You did that and obtained  the following results:

1. There are too many plaques - all we can say is that we have a high titer and we should be happy.

3. Triplicates don't work too well - a higher viral titer was found in plate C, although the same viral stock was used as in plates A and B.
